Check it out…
Yep, that’s my shot! And USA Today published it with my byline, too. They bought it from my stock portfolio on iStock.com.
What’s really cool is that right now — leading up to the winter holidays — is the busiest season for stock photo sales.
Agencies are desperate for new winter seasonal photos. So desperate that one of my agencies sent out an email this week practically begging us to upload more. Here’s what it said:
“We want to see your photos… capturing the approaching chilly days, visiting your local Christmas markets, or playing in the snow. We want to feel the warmth of a cozy evening spent next to the fireside, drinking hot chocolate… don’t miss the chance to share your beautiful content this season!”
You can do this. You can take these photos and set them up in your account for the agency to sell them for you.
Take some wintery photos while friends and family are around for the holidays, and you’ll set yourself up to make some stock photo sales right off the bat.
