Here come the holidays!

I know that things get super busy during this time, but consider this — it’s also one of the most photogenic times of the year! Don’t let it pass you by.

From Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, the next couple of months will be a parade of decorations and celebrations to put in front of your camera.

These are the types of images that stock photo buyers gobble up! (No pun intended).

Here are some ideas to get you started:

Family visiting? Perfect! See if you can recruit some models. Just ask them to wear clothes with no visible logos, trademarks, or branding.

Making special recipes? Before you dig in, set up a couple of quick shots.

Decorating? Might as well create some images from all your hard work.

Shopping? You can’t go wrong with this theme. But again, make sure to hide any logos, trademarks, and store names.

Playing outside? So many fun photo possibilities here!

There is a huge demand for seasonal images every year. Keep your camera handy during these holiday months, and you’ll be able to add some highly salable images to your stock photo galleries.
