Wherever you’re headed this summer — be it an exotic destination or someplace more tame — be sure to pack your camera. Focus in on the way you travel to your destination and how you get around once you are there. The theme for June’s Photo Challenge is: “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.” Of course, we welcome shots of any mode of transportation, not just planes, trains, or autos. So be on the lookout as well for bikes, boats, or even horses and buggies. Be creative and show us an unusual twist on the theme. Think about a unique view or angle that can make your shot stand out. And think, too, about how you can use a transportation-themed shot to reveal something interesting about the place you’re shooting. Submissions for this June challenge are due by 8:00 a.m. EST on Monday, June 25, 2007. You can submit your photos by clicking on the “Enter to Win” tab on our website, here: www.thephotographerslife.com. Next Wednesday we’ll announce the winners for our May photo challenge, which has just come to a close.
