These days a travel-size toothpaste will cost you just about the same as a full tube.  So Holiday Travel Tip #5 is for those who don’t want to waste money on tiny tubes and those who can’t get their favorite brand in travel size. Here’s how to create your own travel-size toothpaste… If you look closely below, you’ll see that the mouth of the travel-size tube is the same size as the mouth on your standard tube.  Simply place the mouths of each open tube against each other so that they meet.  Gently squeeze the large tube of toothpaste until the travel-size tube feels almost full. Now, BEFORE YOU SEPARATE THE TUBES, release the pressure on the large tube completely, then pull the tubes apart.  You should now have a TSA approved, travel-size tube of your favorite toothpaste for half the price (sometimes a third of the price)…and no mess! — Lori Lori Allen Director, Great Escape Publishing [Editor’s Note: Learn more about how you can turn your pictures into cash in our free online newsletter The Right Way to Travel.  Sign up here today and we’ll send you a new report, Selling Photos for Cash: A Quick-Start Guide, completely FREE.]
