What do you think is the number one thing you need to learn to start selling your photos?

Bonnie, here.

My best-selling photos represent thousands of dollars of income. I’m not a great salesperson, so that’s money I never would have made if I had never learned how to make my photos look great in Lightroom.

They all needed to be “developed” in the computer in order to sell… and some of them would be completely unusable without it, like this one:

Which, after a few quick edits, turned up in an article in USA Today:

This week, I’d like to show you my three favorite Lightroom tools that make a HUGE difference in your photos and only take seconds to use.

Each of them is a “slider.” So, all you do is “slide” them left or right and they change the look of your photo. Most of Lightroom operates this way, which makes it very quick.

The first one I’ll share with you is called the “Dehaze” slider. If you have a hazy photo, you just slide it to the right, and done:

For all three of these photos, the “Dehaze” slider is all I used. Each literally took one second to go from the “before” to the “after” you see here.

… just think of all of the washed-out photos you could save in one second!

If you’re not editing your photos, you’re leaving a lot of potential income behind, whether you’d like to sell them as stock, along with travel articles, printed as fine art, or directly to clients.

I know learning something new is daunting. It seems like it will be frustrating and take forever. But all it takes is a few hours to get all the basics you need to make your photos look amazing.

Lightroom is the single biggest thing I learned to improve my photos. And it’s because of Lightroom that my photos look professional enough to bring in thousands of dollars of extra income each year.

Tomorrow, I’ll show you my very favorite tool for making photos look more artistic in seconds.

Stay tuned!
