Richard Branson, the English billionaire, recently tweeted: “If happiness is the goal – and it should be – then adventure should be a top priority.”

Easy for him to say.  He’s a billionaire with his own private island.

Earlier this week, I put import/export on your radar because of its big payouts. But even when we’re making six figures, we can’t always afford the best adventures.  And that’s where travel writing — with its ability to land you adventures only millions can buy — comes in…

Hotel rooms so luxurious they cost more per night than your mortgage… scuba diving trips along one of the world’s most miraculous natural wonders…  private gallery showings of famed art… rounds of golf on the world’s best courses… underwater hotels reachable only by submarine.

We’ll switch back to travel writing this week but there’s a catch…

All of the trips, adventures, and amazing travel experiences we talk about this week aren’t available for purchase.

These are VIP trips, or “press trips,” only travel writers can take. If you’d like to join their ranks, stay tuned over the coming days for tips that have already helped some of your fellow readers take multiple press trips a year to some of the world’s most desirable destinations.
